Cellulite Treatment at The Aesthetic Plan in Fullerton, CA

Cellulite is frustrating. It often does not significantly respond to diet and exercise.

Nine out of ten women develop cellulite, including many women who commit to rigorous diet and exercise routines. Aveli at The Aesthetic Plan in Fullerton is the most advanced and effective treatment for cellulite.

What is cellulite? And how can you get rid of it?

Cellulite is a condition that causes dimpled lumps on your skin, particularly on women’s thighs, hips, and buttocks. These lumps create a “cottage cheese” appearance of dimples that form when subcutaneous bands of connective tissue (known as fibroseptal networks or FSN) harden and shrink. In addition, the “tugging” effect on the surface of your skin creates uneven ridges and troughs.

These FSN bands provide the foundational support structure and “scaffolding” of cellulite dimples. The “peaks and valleys” cannot be leveled until the FSN connective bands are severed and released. That is precisely what the innovative Aveli procedure does. Afterwards,

if necessary, liposuction and RF contouring can be added to even the contours.

What are the benefits of Aveli cellulite treatment?

The Aveli cellulite treatment in Fullerton requires only one session and no “downtime.” As a result, Aveli poses fewer risks and side effects than previous cellulite treatment techniques.

Additionally, Aveli is:

  • Minimally invasive
  • FDA-approved
  • Able to provide your doctor with “real-time” telemetry verification that each discrete cellulite dimple has been destroyed.

There is no “guesswork.” Aveli candidates should be in good general health. Ideal candidates have never had a liposuction procedure on the same body area and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or less. No age restrictions exist, but most Aveli patients are between 25 and 45. If you smoke, you will be directed to stop for a specified period before and after treatment. You may also need to suspend the use of supplements or medications that promote bleeding.

This Is How We Do It

Your Aveli cellulite treatment procedure

The treatment typically takes about an hour and is performed using local anesthesia. Your doctor will make several small incisions in your treatment areas before inserting the Aveli device easily and comfortably beneath your skin.

This ingenious device includes a light and a hook. The light permits precise navigation, while the hook is used to connect with cellulite dimples. When the hook snags one of these dimples, the device releases a tiny blade that severs the septa connective bands, destroying the dimple's “scaffolding” and allowing your skin to relax and smooth.

Say “So Long” To Cellulite!

Aveli cellulite treatment results

You’ll see a big difference as soon as your procedural swelling resolves, typically within a few weeks of treatment. Full results are reached in about 90 days. Remember that once a cellulite dimple has been destroyed, it cannot recur!

Smooth Sailing!

Aveli Cellulite Treatment Recovery and Aftercare

You are free to drive yourself home and can return almost immediately to your usual activities. However, we recommend you avoid strenuous lower body exercise for about two weeks after your cellulite treatment. It’s normal to see some light bruising and temporary soreness when you sit down. Avoid sun exposure to your treated areas for about a month, and get in the habit of using high-quality sunscreen daily.

Cellulite Treatment Frequently Asked Questions

Good candidates for Aveli cellulite treatment are both women and men with stubborn dimpled areas of fat anywhere on the body who do not smoke or have drug or alcohol problems.

The most common side effects reported after cellulite treatment included mild pain or tenderness in the treatment area, swelling, and bruising. Patients reported that their pain resolved within 24 hours while swelling and tenderness to the touch resolved within one month.

Since 90 percent of women develop cellulite, there is clearly a hormonal connection. Additionally, cellulite runs in some families. The aging process also often accelerates cellulite. As your skin gets thinner, connective tissue bands known as septa shrink and harden, causing uneven tugging pressure on your skin. This leads directly to cellulite dimples.

Not in your treated areas. If you develop cellulite after Aveli, it will be in an untreated location.

It’s probably prudent to wait until you have given birth and completed breastfeeding since Aveli is an elective procedure.

No. In fact, liposuction can often make cellulite look worse.

Creams, massages, and proper hydration can sometimes make cellulite less conspicuous, but no home regimen will eliminate it.
