BodyTite removes fat without the downtime and invasiveness of traditional liposuction. The fat that BodyTite removes is removed permanently gone and will not return. Not only does the procedure remove fat, but it also contours and tightens the skin and encourages collagen production in the inner layers of the skin. BodyTite only calls for small puncture wounds in the area to be treated. They are used to insert a device that delivers radiofrequency waves to melt subcutaneous fat. Some results of the BodyTite procedure will be visible immediately. You will notice there is less fat in the areas that were treated. However, it may take from three to six months to see your full results.
The good news about BodyTite fat removal is that the results are permanent. Once fat cells are removed, they will not return. However, it is important to maintain a stable body weight so you don’t gain additional fat in surrounding areas.
It is advisable to rest at home for four to five days after your BodyTite procedure. You will be given a compression garment to wear for a couple of weeks. It is important that you wear this garment as it will aid in achieving optimal results. While you may see some results immediately, your final results will be visible in three to six months when swelling subsides. Again, it is important to maintain a healthy and stable body weight so other fat cells don’t become enlarged and replace the removed fat cells.

There are very few risks associated with BodyTite because of its minimally invasive nature. Because you are under a local anesthetic and not general anesthesia, there is less chance of having a reaction to anesthesia. You will remain awake during the procedure and can, in most cases, drive yourself home afterward. There is also the possibility of temporary numbness/tingling in the area treated. Scarring is rare but possible if the skin surface is disrupted. Although uncommon, burns can occur. Infection is rare, but should it occur, treatment with antibiotics and/or surgical intervention may be required.
It will take 1 to 2 weeks for any post-surgical swelling and bruising to subside before you see your results from BodyTite. After this, you can expect continuous tightening over the next 2 to 4 months as you achieve your new sculpted look. Final results usually take six months but may take up to a year.
