FaceTite
Are you bothered by sagging skin in your neck or lower face but don’t want the invasiveness or recovery time of a full facelift or neck lift? FaceTite and AccuTite is a revolutionary new minimally invasive surgical system that uses radiofrequency energy to heat the skin and reduce the subcutaneous fat layer.
FaceTite is more effective and longer lasting than other RF and ultrasound treatments to target the lower third of the face, and the neck. We also offer treatments with the AccuTite to target smaller areas (eg. the chin and jowls). We can combine these treatments to give you bespoke smoothing and sculpting of the lower face, neck, and various areas of the body. FaceTite is the first device approved by the FDA that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat skin and underlying tissues simultaneously to tighten skin and melt fat. While FaceTite works on larger areas of the face, AccuTite is specifically designed for smaller areas, such as under the eyes or in the nasolabial folds. These minimally invasive procedures also stimulate the production of collagen for better skin contouring after the procedure. Your body removes the subcutaneous fat cells as waste. Once fat cells are removed, they will never regenerate, so the results are long-lasting.
FaceTite and AccuTite are both minimally invasive surgical procedures that remove fat and tighten skin. They are excellent alternatives to a facelift or facial liposuction surgery, which are more invasive procedures that come with longer recovery times.
They combine fat reduction and skin rejuvenation in one procedure. Both procedures help define the contours of your face and other areas to provide a more youthful experience. They are perfect for those patients who don’t have time to take off work for a facelift, neck lift, or facial liposuction recovery. FaceTite can create a slimmer silhouette in your chin, jowls, cheeks, and jawline for a younger look.
If you are looking for a procedure that will tighten and tone your face while burning fat, you are a good candidate for FaceTite and AccuTite. FaceTite and AccuTite are excellent options for people with less advanced signs of laxity, sagging, and aging who want a less invasive skin rejuvenation and sculpting treatment.
FaceTite uses radiofrequency energy to create a more appealing silhouette. During the procedure, we will apply an anesthetic to your face to reduce discomfort and make a small incision to insert the FaceTite device’s narrow cannula. The radiofrequency waves will liquefy the fat while a separate tube removes it. The radiofrequency also stimulates collagen cells deep in your skin, which helps regenerate and rejuvenate your skin.
You will be amazed at your FaceTite and AccuTite results. Normally, it takes around six weeks for results to take effect. Contouring will continue to improve rapidly over the next three to four months.
You will see smoother, tighter skin, a more contoured lower face, and a more defined profile. Your results may continue to improve for up to a year.
Because this is an in-office procedure and no general anesthesia is required, you can go home directly after the procedure. You can resume most normal activities right away. However, you should take a couple of days off to recover and allow the swelling to go down before returning to work. You may experience mild numbness, swelling, bruising, and soreness, but these side effects will subside in about a week.
A good candidate for FaceTite is a patient with an accumulation of fat, saggy skin, and jowl laxity in the lower face, jaw, and neck.
The FaceTite procedure is done outpatient in our office and takes between 45 and 90 minutes to complete. After the procedure, you are free to return home and resume your regular activities.
There is very little discomfort associated with either procedure. We will give you a local anesthetic to alleviate any discomfort.
Possibilities include bruising, swelling, infection, scarring, and discomfort at the site of the incisions. However, FaceTite is said to cause fewer side effects overall compared to other types of procedures because of the small incisions used.
It takes about three days for side effects, like redness or swelling, to subside.
In the majority of cases, it just takes one session. A few patients may need more than one session to achieve the desired outcome, and three sessions may be recommended.
FaceTite procedures are not very painful – and there's usually minimal to no bruising. However, patients are given prescription pain medication in case it is needed. Most discomfort is from the headwrap that's required during the first night.
