Facials
Once thought of as a procedure only the wealthy could enjoy, facials have become a vital part of many people’s skincare regimens.
Facials help renew skin cells by providing deep cleaning, exfoliation, and hydration by circulating blood under the skin and improving overall facial circulation. Improved circulation boosts oxygen and nutrients while reducing puffiness. At The Aesthetic Plan, we offer four types of facials:
We have a facial that is just right for your skin type and your desired outcome. Contact us today at The Aesthetic Plan to schedule your monthly facial.
Facials use a variety of methods to cleanse and exfoliate the skin and remove bacteria, viruses, parasites, dead skin cells, and impurities. Facials normally include cleansing, steam, exfoliation, extraction, and the application of creams and other treatments; however, here at The Aesthetic Plan, our facials give you so much more!
Hydrafacials use a proprietary machine to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and deliver serums to the face. The hydrafacial tightens, and firms the skin almost immediately and provides stellar results. The hydrafacial uses an exfoliating tip with suction attached to it to release and remove dead skin from the face's surface.
Korean Glass Facials use the same protocols as used in the med spas in Seoul, South Korea to give your face that "fresh baby skin" look and aims to achieve a smooth, dewy, and luminous complexion. This is a multistep process which focuses on hydration, dead skin removal, removal of sun damage, removal of fine lines, addresses uneven skin tone and dullness, pore size reduction, and skin tightening.
Laser light facials, or laser skin resurfacing, reduce wrinkles and scars, even out skin tone, tighten lax skin, and reduce the look of many types of imperfections and signs of aging. It’s a simple but very effective process that can leave you looking refreshed.
Radiofrequency facials rejuvenate the skin by stimulating the growth of collagen and elastin at the surface while promoting wrinkle reduction and the disappearance of fine lines. They feel like a comfortable hot stone massage and result in a very refreshed look in the skin.
Having a monthly facial is not a luxury; it can be an integral part of your skincare routine. Facials increase circulation under the skin, which helps renew skin cells.
It can also decrease puffiness and fluid buildup. Increasing circulation also helps the cellular turnover rate, reducing the signs of aging. Facials aid in deep cleansing, getting down into the pores to remove the debris and dirt that causes bacteria to build up in the skin. Facials are also relaxing and can help alleviate stress while giving you smooth, glowing skin.
At The Aesthetic Plan, we believe that regular facials should be an essential part of your skincare routine. Whether you’re looking to refresh your complexion, boost circulation, or achieve a radiant glow, facials are an excellent way to rejuvenate your skin and enhance your natural beauty.
Anyone can benefit from the smoothing and clarifying effects of a facial expression. If you're ready to enjoy glowing skin and improve overall skin health, facials are the perfect addition to your monthly regimen. If you have a specific skin condition such as acne or rosacea, we recommend consulting with a physician to ensure that facials suit your needs. In many cases, facials can actually help improve these conditions by soothing irritation and encouraging healthier skin.

The hydrafacial consists of the aesthetician using an exfoliating tip and running it across the skin to loosen any dead layers and impurities. This tip is paired with a suction tube that removes the dead skin as it is loosened. A gentle fluid is applied to the skin, which removes dead skin and impurities. This procedure unclogs pores while adding a serum to the skin to revitalize and heal it from within. We can then add a boost to increase skin healing and improve overall skin quality.
Salt facials consist of exfoliation using sea salt for maximum effect. Sea salt blasts away dead skin cells while renewing the skin with minerals. The deep exfoliation you get with sea salt facials also helps the absorption of serums. The addition of sea salt to the facials also helps calm inflammation.
Laser light facials use the innovative technology of laser light treatments to do essentially the same things other facials do. A laser facial tightens skin, reduces wrinkles and scars, and evens out tone and coloration.
No matter which facial you decide is right for you, you will love how our facials make you feel. Your skin will be glowing and renewed, tighter, and have improved circulation.
Results can last for several weeks and can enhance the tone, texture, and overall look and feel of your skin. We usually suggest you receive a facial every month to keep the benefits of your facial current.
There is very little downtime or recovery associated with a facial. You should avoid putting on makeup for one day just to give the serums we apply to your skin time to absorb. If you go out into the sun, wear sunscreen to protect your skin. There may be some redness associated with having a facial, but after seven days, your skin will be completely healed and will not be red any longer. Depending on the type of facial you receive, you may experience a bit of swelling, but this will also go away quickly, leaving you with beautiful, healthy skin. Be sure and stay hydrated…the more water you drink each day, the healthier your skin will be.
Because a facial can release oils into your hair, it is best to wait until after a facial to wash your hair.
It is best not to use any exfoliation scrubs for a week or so after a facial, as your skin has already been exfoliated, and any further exfoliation will only irritate the skin.
RF (Radio Frequency) is a type of electrical energy that can be specifically controlled and thereby delivered very accurately. RF energy has been used extensively in medicine, including treatments of the heart and nerves in the back for pain management. With ThermiSmooth, the provider uses a specifically designed thermistor-regulated handpiece to target and treat the desired areas precisely and safely.
During the treatment, you should feel warmth and heat. There could be some temporary localized slight discomfort, but make sure to provide ongoing feedback to the individual performing the treatment so he/she can make adjustments.
Jewelry, make-up, including lotions, eyeliner and eye shadow, should be removed from the treatment area prior to treatment. We also recommend that the patient hydrate well prior to the procedure.
Patients who are currently pregnant, have cardiac devices such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, mechanical valves, electrical device or cochlear implants should not have the treatment. The treatment is also not done over an active skin condition. Patients who are breast feeding are okay to be treated.
No, anesthesia or numbing cream is required.
