After a treatment, you may experience slight redness, swelling, or soreness where the treatment was applied. This is normal. It is important not to sweat too much after the treatment —
so no working out, no hot showers, and no hot tub until 48 hours have passed. You should refrain from wearing makeup and from shaving for three days to allow the skin to begin the healing process. It’s also important to change your pillowcase on the day of the procedure so as not to introduce oils or other substances that may be present on a used pillowcase.
Secret Pro is safe, effective, and simple to perform. However, it is essential to remember that results are not immediate and will take time to develop gradually and will be most evident four to six weeks after treatment. There may be redness and a bit of swelling after the procedure, but this will resolve for the most part after two to three days. Eventually, your skin will renew itself, and you will have smoother, clearer skin with a healthy glow.

Please wash your face with a mild soap the morning before treatment. Do not wear makeup, lotions, or perfumes on your skin before treatment. If you have a history of Herpes simplex (cold sores), be sure to take the medication you were prescribed to prevent a breakout after your treatment.
The downtime for treatments is between 48 and 72 hours. The CO2 laser can be used as a light skin peel, in which case the downtime is 24 to 48 hours, or used as a deep fractional ablative laser treatment, in which case the downtime is two to four weeks.
There is pain associated with Secret Pro RF Microneedling. We at The Aesthetic Plan devote ourselves to alleviating the pain patients have experienced with this procedure. The pain can be alleviated with a topical anesthetic; however, adjunct medication, nitrous oxide, local anesthetic solution under the skin, and nerve blocks are available to the patient to render the treatment virtually painless if needed. Once in the office, the patient has the choice to use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to decrease pain awareness, topical numbing cream on the skin, local anesthetic solutions, and nerve blocks to render the treatment as painless as possible. Patients will need to arrange transportation to and from the office to undergo treatment.
Results from RF microneedling begin to be apparent the day after the treatment. You will have redness and swelling for the most part in the part of the body on which the treatment was performed. By the third day after the treatment, you should be able to venture out with sunscreen and light makeup if you had treatment of your face. In one week, you will see healthier-looking skin that may still have slight swelling. Your skin should return to normal, vibrant, shiny, and beautiful in one to two months.
