Regenerative Medicine
As we age or experience injury or illness, our bodies may lose their ability to heal and regenerate tissue. At The Aesthetic Plan in Fullerton, we offer a variety of regenerative medicine treatments tailored to your specific needs.
The Aesthetic Plan offers a variety of regenerative medicine treatments, to include Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), and very small embryonic like stem cells (VSEL). PRP utilizes the platelets found in your own blood to help your body repair itself. We start by drawing a small amount of your blood and then processing it to concentrate the platelets containing powerful growth factors. We then measure the amount of platelets (typically 11 billion) and inject this concentrated solution into the areas of your body that need regeneration, such as wrinkles, volume loss, hair loss, or areas with loss of function. The result is a more youthful, functional appearance and improved cellular function. MSC's are sourced from the fat of the body, and broken down to a slurry (nanofat) which actually reveals the MSC's. This slurry can be used in areas of your body that also need regeneration, such as wrinkles, volume loss, hair loss, or areas with loss of sexual function. VSEL's are the newest discovery in stem cell therapy, utilizing the body's own population of stem cells from the blood plasma that typically reproduce and respond to trauma or health care crisis (eg. stroke or heart attack). These cells are released from their peptide carriers (where they exist in an inactive state) by illuminating the plasma sample with a red laser. We then verify and quantify the amount of VSEL's in the sample with a cytometer. The VSEL's then can be given to the patient at the area of need and guided where to go to repair damaged tissue by illuminating that area with the laser. These cells calm inflammation and repair the damaged tissue by replacing the cells of that tissue. Discover the transformative benefits of regenerative medicine at The Aesthetic Plan today.
Regenerative Medicine is an innovative and natural line of treatments offered by The Aesthetic Plan in Fullerton, CA. It involves using the body's own healing mechanisms to regenerate and repair damaged tissues, promoting long-term healing and relief from pain.
Our bodies comprise various types of specialized cells, including blood cells, epithelial cells, connective tissue, neurons, muscle cells, and lung cells. Stem cells can divide and become any type of cell needed to nurture the growth of new cells and organs or repair damaged tissue. We use VSEL's for our stem cell therapy because the age of the body has no detimental effect on the cell's ability to restore structure and function. Bone marrow stem cells, and MSC's, however, may undergo a decrease in concentration, and the ability to regenerate becomes limited.
Through stem cell therapy, we can reverse the effects of aging and boost our bodies' natural regenerative capacity. Introducing concentrated stem cells to damaged or diseased tissues can jumpstart the healing process and promote the growth of new, healthy tissue. Although the FDA has not yet approved VSEL's for use in intravenous therapy in patients, the injection of PRP and MSC's are approved by the FDA. Experience the transformative potential of regenerative medicine at The Aesthetic Plan and discover how it can help you achieve optimal health and wellness.
